This first image is a watercolor of Abaty Tyndyrn or Tintern Abbey in Wales by artist J.M.W. Turner. He is one of my favorite artists. He mostly created in oils, but his watercolors are almost photographic. Amazing! This watercolor was created in the early 1800's.


This next image is an actual photo I took of Tintern Abbey in February 2007. If you have not been to Wales, go. It's a tremendous country rich in history, beauty and culture.



This last image is a photo of my dog, Harley. You cannot top pets for great pictures!

Welcome to my blog. Initial postings will be dedicated to a digital photography class I am enrolled in at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.

You can probably tell by the url and title that I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan. More on that later...
